Ingredients

  • 900g strained cow’s milk yoghurt.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk.
  • zest of 1 lemon.
  • juice from ½ lemon.
  • 250g Stergiou Family grape must cookies (crumbled).
  • 120g Pistachios (chopped).

For the flavored sugar:

  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar.
  • 20 mint leaves.
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice.

Steps

  1. For the flavored sugar add all the ingredients in a mortar and, using the pestle, grind for 3 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl using a spatula, lightly mix the yoghurt with the condensed milk, lemon zest and lemon juice.
  3.  In a medium deep Pyrex dish, pour the crumbled grape must cookies to evenly cover its entire surface.
  4. Pour the yoghurt mixture on top and spread evenly.
  5. Using a spoon, scatter the flavored sugar in different places over the mixture.
  6. Cover the surface with the pistachios.
  7. Serve cold straight from the refrigerator.
