Ingredients

  • 1 package Stergiou Family mini-croissants.
  • 380ml milk.
  • 90g sugar.
  • 40 g. fine semolina.
  • 1 tube/sachet of vanilla powder (1.5 gr.).
  • zest of half an orange.
  • 20g. butter, chilled. 
  • ⅕ tsp salt.
  • strawberries (optional)

Steps

  1. In a pan, bring the sugar and milk to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Add semolina and stir with a whisk, until cream thickens.
  3. Add vanilla and remove pan from heat.
  4. Add orange zest, salt and butter and stir until butter melts.
  5. With a bread knife (serrated), cut the croissants in half.
  6. On a plate place two croissants that you have filled with bougatsa cream.
  7. You can also add strawberries to release taste
